Isle Royale Light, or Menagerie Island Light, as it is also known, is a lighthouse located within Isle Royale National Park in northern Michigan. A private boat is the only way to reach the 61-foot double-walled octagonal sandstone tower with a black lantern and gallery. The lighthouse was completed and operative in 1875 of red sandstone and automated in 1913.
