Crow Lodge Bana

The design for this Bana, Crow Lodge, is based on one of 186 officially painted Dream Lodges (Tipi). The inspiration for these lodges came from Native American men's dreams, which were based on their experiences. The men's dreams were a vision in which an animal, spirit, or other being came to them and told them how to paint their tipi in the dream. There is an origin story behind every painted lodge. Located on the Blackfeet Reservation in Browning, Montana, Crow Lodge belongs to Darrell Norman - Ee-Nees-Too-Wah-See, a Southern Blackfoot - Amskapi Pikuni.
