Write a review

The Racetrack is nestled in a remote valley between Cottonwood and Last Chance Ranges in Death Valley National Park. It is a "playa" or dry lakebed known for its mysterious moving rocks, s known as "sailing stones," which leave behind tracks when they move due to a combination of melting ice and light winds. This black and white photo Bana captures the beauty of this unusual site.
